Cow’s It Going?

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today with my first post for the Perfect Papercrafting Blog, I had to share this cool Cow’s It Going Scrapbook page that I created using the Perfect Airbrush. We are using photos on our projects this Month and I created a fun card using a photo I took back in the Spring.

I started with a White standard card base and using a stencil and the Perfect AirBrush tool I added some Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey Distress ink to created a background.

Once I had the color saturation I wanted I lifted the stencil and set that aside to dry.

Then using the Perfect Ruler and an xacto knife I trimmed out my photo and a piece of pattern paper.

I stamped and colored a few images from some fun sets from MFT and cut them out.

I assembled the card with some foam adhesive and I added some twine behind the fence to create an embellishment cluster. I stamped the sentiment and added it along the upper right corner of the photo. For a fun pop of Green I added a few Mossy Green. Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Valentines Inspiration

Finishing up some last minute Valentine’s cards? Jenny has a fabulous one to show your love!

By Jenny Gropp

Grab your Perfect Layer Rulers and some fun paper and stamps and get ’em done! Layers a simple way to really give your card a little extra WOW… without a lot of work!

I stamped the striped heart using Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White paper.  Above are the Copic Markers I used to color it.

Use layers in-between your different patterned paper to help give definition and add interest. Foam tape helps adds dimension in between the layers.

Perfect Layer Rulers are the perfect got o tool to add a lot of interest to your card very easily! Small little layers in between those patterns help break it up and give it a clean feel. The small black lines are 1/16″ in size. This was a left over piece from my card front. Always using my leftovers for the inside! Finished card is an A2.

Christmas Scene Card

Jenny has created this beautiful traditional Christmas Scene and shares step by step instructions on how you can recreate this wonderful card.

Love this little Christmas Tree Farm scene image.
I thought I’d share a little coloring tutorial with you and show you how a couple of simple layers with the fabulous Perfect Layer Rulers can create a fast holiday card.

I cut the image out using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Rectangle Dies.
My favorite ink to stamp when using Copics or Chameleons is always Memento.
I added a little soft color for the sky and snow.

A little grey on the barn roof with N3 and N1.
I used the E’s to color in the wooden sign and barn.

The trees were just dabbed quickly with a little bit of green.

I used a White Sharpie Fine Tip pen to add some snow dots on to the scene.

I used my Mini Perfect Layers to add 1/16″ layers to my card panels. Love that little skinny line!
A sharp craft knife is key to getting smooth clean cuts.

It’s hard to see the sparkle… but I added Bo Bunny’s Sugar Glitter Paste all over the scene to bring it to life with some holiday glitz!

On the inside I added the sentiment and once again framed the liner with my Perfect Layer Rulers, adding a red mat. Finished Card is an A2.
