Winter Wishes Card and a Free Perfect Cutting Mat

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!! Only 3 days left, I wish I had 3 more months! I hope everyone is as excited about Christmas and the new year. Today I made this winter wished card. I just love this little guy! I did a before card and after card so you can see the difference our Perfect Layers tools can make. I used our Perfect Layers tools and our Perfect Cutting mat. See the end of the post to see how you can get a free Perfect Cutting mat!

My card looks ok, but wait and take a peak at the after with all the gloriously perfect layers!!

I just love how the layers really add a ton of interest to my card. I did extreme layering to make my snowman pop! I colored my snowman with Copic markers and added Crystal Stickles to the snow, the hat and the snowflakes for added dimension. I used Lawn Fawn patterned paper and black cardstock.  I hope you will find some time to create a card using  our Perfect Layers tools to get the perfect layers on all of your crafting projects.

We still have our free Perfect Cutting Mat with a $20 or more purchase at Perfect Paper Crafting until December 31, 2014. Oh, and if you want an extra 10% off, use code Llynn at checkout!

Simple stamping turns into so much more when you add layers! I stamped this beautiful image and masked the bottom snow area, using Eclipse Tape. I cut the image out with a Spellbinder’s rectangle and airbrushed using Copic BG75. While my image was still in the die I added a little piercing by hand along the airbrushed portion of the rectangle. I used my Perfect Layer Rulers to frame my image multiple times.

I wanted to add some falling snow back in to the scene after airbrushing. I used a very small ball stylus and dipped it in Copic Opaque White to create some falling snow.

Layers again on the inside! The Silent Night sentiment and All is Calm sentiment, I thought went perfectly with this image. The finished card is an A2.

Express Mail from the North Pole Card

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Who’s going shopping?

Well to get you in the mood for Christmas, Jenny Peterson created this beautiful Express Mail from the North Pole card using our Perfect Layers Mini tools and Perfect Cutting Mat.

I used a stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti on my card- North Pole Wishes, Let it Snow Confetti Cuts and Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts. I used my favourite PPC products- Perfect Cutting Mat and Perfect Layers Mini, using the 1/16th measurement to create layers with black CS around the large grey patterned paper, the stamped panel and along the other chevron dies. Matting your layers in black makes everything pop! I added some black machine stitching and coordinating enamel dots.
