I started out by tearing the edge of a few pieces of coordinating paper papers from Doodlebug with the Perfect Tears Tool. You can use the pen in this kit to create a wet edge to make the tearing a little smoother but I like using this tool on the dry paper for a rougher texture.
Once I had all three pieces of the pattern paper torn I adhered them to a Turquoise card base and trimmed off any excess.
Then I die cut a circle from some White card stock and added some color with Distress inks to create a background for my images.
I stamped several images form the RAH sets Friendly Fox , Deerest Friends and Birdhouse onto some White Copic friendly card stock and colored them in with Copics. I cut them with some scissors and added some Black marker around the outer edge for a cleaner look.
I adhered the images to the Circle to create the scene. Then I added some Twine to the front of the card and the image circle with some Foam tape.
I stamped the sentiments from the Simple Sentiments set and trimmed them out with my scissors and adhered them over the edge of the Circle to create a custom sentiment.
Raechelle Bellus is here tonight creating a fun layout for us to show one of the many ways to honor our moms! We love our moms and it is so special when there are times you can capture a memory together and save it for generations to come!
Patterned Paper: October Afternoon and My Mind’s Eye
Sequins: Craftin Desert Diva’s
Stickers: Pink Paislee
Machine stitching, foam, and white cardstock.
Cut two strips of polka dot paper; one 5/8” x 12” (adhere to right edge of base paper) and the other to 1.75” x 12” (adhere this strip to left side of base paper)
Fussy cut circle doilies and flower sprays from patterned papers. Adhere circle doilies randomly on paper. Place one of the floral sprays slightly underneath border on right side of layout. Keep the side along the edge flat and use some foam to pop the rest up for dimension.
Place the Perfect Tears- Perfect Wave Tool– using the Large Wave Edge along bottom edge of the long area on the backside of striped patterned paper. Press down on edge with one hand, while tearing paper upward toward you. Be sure to hold tool down firmly and pull with a bit of force to get a clean cut.
Adhere this strip atop of polka dot paper on right side. My strip is about 1- 1/8” x 12”.
Add machine stitching along both inside edges of paper strips on both sides.
Add other two floral sprays using foam for some dimension.

I started out by die cutting the gingerbread from some Suede cardstock and then I added some shading around the edges with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I stamped the face and little buttons and colored them in with Colored pencils.
Then I die cut the accessory pieces included in the set. The apron, hat and bowl and than I added some color using Copic Markers. I adhered the pieces with some liquid glue and set the image aside.
I created a Green top folding card base and then I added some pattern paper and matted it using the Mini Perfect Layers tool and my craft knife. The I adhered the pattern paper panel to the card base.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of White cardstock and trimmed it into a banner and adhered it to the upper right corner of the card front. I added a piece of White ribbon around the card front as well and tied it into a bow. Then I adhered the gingerbread cookie with some foam adhesive.
Be sure to stop back by for some more great projects from the other Design Team members. Holly
I created some cute Gift bags that are perfect for all your sweet treats. I started out by die cutting the gingerbread men from some Baked Brown Sugar card stock and then added some Walnut Stain Distress ink around the edges to create some depth.
This set comes with a few dies and then some stamps you can use to decorate your cookies. I stamped the eyes and buttons using some Black ink and then I embossed the Rick Rack using the Sparkle Puff and Real Red embossing powders. I added some color to the face with some colored pencils and a VersaMarker to add the embossing powders to the buttons. Then using the Perfect Paper Crafting Ruler and Cutting Mat I created a tag for each cookie.
I added some additional Rick Rack and embossed that as well. Then I adhered the cookie with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a little circle tag for the Red Tag and then directly onto the tag for the White one. I also added a red heart to the White tag using the die included in the set and the Perfect Airbrush.
I adhered each tag to some Kraft paper bags from the craft store and folded the tops over. Perfect for all your Holiday Treats! These tags could be attached to a Jar or box of goodies as well.
