I did a before shot of my card to show you what it looks like without layers. IMG_7335 I used My Mind’s Eye Paper and the stamp is Benton’s Balloons by Inky Antics. I used my Copics to color Benton and glossy accents to make the balloons shine! I put a slit in his hands and pulled the twine through. Here is the after of my card using our Perfect Layers Mini tools. I made my layers 1/16″. I used our Perfect Cutting Mat to cut my layers on. You really can see how the layers make the card POP!! IMG_7332   I really love our new Perfect Layers Mini tools and Cutting Mat. They are great for card making and matting photos. 1. Great card, and I love seeing the before and after. I love my layers – it always seems like something important is missing if I don’t mat my pieces. LOVE these mini tools, too!

  2. A fabulous card Laura! I can’t tell you enough how much Perfect Layers have changed my art-life, I LOVE them!!! Thanks for this hop and the chance to share my creations! Leigh S-B of leighsbdesigns.blogspot.com

  3. Oh how I would love the perfect layers. What a difference it make on your cards. I mean the card is but then WOW! It pops right off the card with the layers. Thanks for sharing!

  4. Love the before and after shot. You can really see the difference! Love how the black matting coordinates with the twine. Really ties it together, if you will excuse the pun. Well done.

  5. Smack on my head! Wow! I’m amazed! That tool is a must have for every papercrafter!!! Wow! What a difference it makes when used for layering. Thanks for sharing the before and after pic.

  6. The layers totally make that card pop!! It’s amazing what a little contrast will do. I have the larger perfect layering tools and they are awesome. These new minis are adorable and would definitely take up much less space. I’m off to hop around.

  7. Hi, just came across your blog hop by accident. Sorry, I’m not familiar with your products, but am looking forward to learning all about them and seeing all the inspiration. Love hops like this!

  8. The perfect layer tool makes matting and layering so easy, and the size of the cutting mat make them both so portable. A lovely card and so much better when layered on to the black card.

  9. I have been right round the hop to Faith at the end but there were a couple, namely Dana Joy and Jenn Cocran who didn’t have an obvious way to leave a comment, and as I don’t really understand any other way of doing it other than a ‘comment’ box I had to leave it . Hope I can still be entered in the hop though. Thanks there was some lovely work on all the blogs.

  10. I’ve had my perfect layers rulers since y’all first created them and love them. I’ve bought a set for every friend I have that scrapbooks or makes cards. I think I may just have to pick some of these new littler ones up. 🙂 I love the before and after.

  11. Darling card. With all the layers I can see you made good use of the layering tool. I need to try it out so I’d put more layers on my cards.
