Instructions:

  • Stamp sentiments onto tags

stamping-sentiment

  • Cut some foam and adhere to back of each tag for dimension
  • Use a pre-cut tag or cut a piece of patterned paper to 2.5” x 4” (striped paper)
  • Adhere to yellow cardstock
  • Place the Perfect Cutting Mat underneath desired cutting area.
  • Using the Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around floral patterned paper. Set aside.

layer-one

  • Trim floral paper to 3.5” x 5”. Adhere to green patterned paper.
  • Place the Perfect Cutting Mat underneath desired cutting area. Using the Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around floral cut piece. Adhere to yellow patterned paper.
  • Place the Perfect Cutting Mat underneath desired cutting area.
  • Using the Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around using green patterned paper as guide.
  • ***** please note that in the following photo my cuts appear different than described above. I did not have a large enough floral paper piece and I wanted to use it so I improvised by adhering this piece to the green patterned paper and after trimming with the tools, I cut this in half before adhering to yellow base paper.

layer-two

  • Adhere large base pieces to card base.
  • Place the Perfect Tears– Perfect Wave Tool- Small Wave Edge along bottom edge of the long area on the backside of paper strip/piece. Press down on edge with one hand, while tearing paper upward toward you. Be sure to hold tool down firmly and pull with a bit of force to get a clean cut.

  • Cut this strip in half and layer one atop the other.
  • Add twine across top of this piece.
  • Adhere smaller cut piece to center of card.
  • Add tags, fussy cut floral spray, and enamel dots.
  • Fold a length of twine in half and tie a bow. Trim to desired length.
  • Add a small piece of twine to center of button and then adhere to center of bow.

I started out by die cutting the gingerbread from some Suede cardstock and then I added some shading around the edges with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I stamped the face and little buttons and colored them in with Colored pencils.

Then I die cut the accessory pieces included in the set. The apron, hat and bowl and than I added some color using Copic Markers. I adhered the pieces with some liquid glue and set the image aside.
I created a Green top folding card base and then I added some pattern paper and matted it using the Mini Perfect Layers tool and my craft knife. The I adhered the pattern paper panel to the card base.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of White cardstock and trimmed it into a banner and adhered it to the upper right corner of the card front. I added a piece of White ribbon around the card front as well and tied it into a bow. Then I adhered the gingerbread cookie with some foam adhesive.
