Perfect Paper Crafting + Right At Home!

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today and this month the Perfect Paper Crafting team is joining up with Right at Home  showcasing the Simple Sentiments Stamp set. I’ve been a fan of Nicole’s line since the beginning and the is a must have set for your Crafty Stash.

I started out by embossing the Flowers from the RAH Abstract Florals set  onto some Watercolor paper with White Embossing powder. Then I added some Distress ink in Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade with a brush and water.

Once the background was dry I added some more images from the set with VersaFine Black Onyx ink.

Then I trimmed the panel using the Perfect Ruler and the Perfect Little Cutting Mat.  I also used the Perfect Layers Mini Layering Tool to create a Black layer that would be 1/4” bigger then the image panel and I adhered both pieces to a white card base slightly off set with some Foam tape.
rah5
I used the Beautiful die cut from My Favorite Things and die cut four from some white card stock and stacked them together with liquid glue and adhered them to the front of the card.
rah6
I stamped the sentiment from the Right At Home Simple Sentiments set onto some black card stock and heat embossed it in white and trimmed it into a Banner and added it just above the Beautiful Sentiment.

This sentiment set is perfect for any occasion. Be sure to check our Nicole’s entire line of stamps and for more ideas be sure to check out Right At Home on InstagramFacebook, their Blog, and their Shop!

Thank You Card Making

This week we are demonstrating how to make Thank You Cards fun to design and fun to receive!  Our designers have continued working with our friends at ARC Crafts and it is so cool to see the different things you can do with their real wood specialty paper.  Anytime you can add a different dimension to your card project it is sure to stand out.  Their fantastic BARC wood paper lets you do just that and is Perfect for any project!

Raechelle Bellus is back again this week showing us two great ways to create very creative and thoughtful Thank You cards using products from Perfect Paper Crafting and ARC Crafts.

Using The Perfect Airbrush tool apply desired color/s to cardstock (the card shown has two blues and a touch of coral).

Die cut alphas. Using The Perfect Craft Ruler as a guide, align and lightly adhere letters to the airbrushed card stock.  Once dry, hand stitch using floss (and I JUST noticed that the “N” did not get completely stitched! Ugh. That will be fixed).

thank you alignment

Once letters are stitched, adhere this piece to the BARC Wood Paper. Using the Perfect Little cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini, 1/16” trim around wood paper. Adhere this to white card stock and with the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/16” trim around white card stock minus the bottom edge which will be trimmed to 3/8”.

thank you tools

Adhere this piece to card base. Add a small torn section from the airbrushed card stock and fussy cut flowers from patterned paper.

Punch three butterflies from the BARC Wood paper and glue one atop each other and lightly fan edges once dry. Add to card and finish off with an enamel dot and bow. Add two additional enamel dots to card.
