We are so pleased to kick of our new design team with this fabulous project from Jenny Gropp. How fun is this little old lady jumping for joy? She’s jumping up and down cause it’s not her turning older! Her name Lillie and its an image from the fun Art Impressions. After coloring her up with Copics I used a Wobble to pop her up so she wiggles and jumps as soon as you pick up the card.
Here are the Copics I used to color Lillie. She’s a little on the skinny side so I had to cut the wobble down so you don’t see it sticking out behind her. To trim in the tiny little areas I used an Xacto knife. I added a little jute string detail around the oval die cut… not as tedious as it seems. I used a fineline applicator to put a small line of glue down and just laid the string along the glue.
I’ve used my Mini Perfect Layer Rulers to add all the yummy layers on the card. The smallest ruler has a 1/16″ edge and its my favorite and most used… those skinny little layers are ideal for card size projects.
I die cut some border edges from the patterned paper and wanted to layer them up. I used the Perfect Ruler and my grid mat to hold everything in place and cut a clean measured edge.
On the inside I always use up the left over paper. Also if you have lots of layers on the front… carry it through to the inside for a nicely balanced and finished card.

Tracey Valure joins us today with a super cute Easter Card colored using Chameleon Color Tone Pens.
Tracey stamped the image and then used Chameleon Pens Cool Grey, Sky Blue, Summer Sun, Bubble Gum, Aquamarine, Purple Grape, Seville Orange and Deep Black. The die cut image has then been layered using Perfect Layers Mini and the Perfect Cutting Mat.
Hope you have enjoyed visiting us today, don’t forget to hop on over to the Chameleon Pen blog here, for more inspiration.
I used several of the Chameleon Pens to color this scene…
Fawn for her skin
Warm Sunset, Hot Cocoa and Bark for her hair
Crimson Red for her cheeks and the mailbox flag
Bubble Gum and Purple Grape for her dress, shoes and flowers
Spring Meadow for the grass, stems and leaves
Summer Sun and Seville Orange for the chick
Cool Gray for the mail box
Bark for the post
The scene is stamped with Memento Black ink, colored and then die cut with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle die.
To showcase the scene, tape it to a piece of black card-stock, then using the 1/16th inch ruler, cut to mat the scene!
Next I wanted a white layer before I mounted to a top fold A-2 card-base. Tape it to white card-stock and with the 1/8th inch ruler, cut to mat and then adhere to the pink card base.
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy stamping, coloring and card designing, don’t forget to hop on over to the Chameleon blog to see what their team has created today here
