It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….!

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today and this month the Perfect Paper Crafting Team are teaming up with Stampendous and we are sharing lots of fun Christmas Projects. I’m using the super cute Gingerbread Baker Stamp die set along with the Sparkle PuffReal Red Opaque Embossing Powders.

I created some cute Gift bags that are perfect for all your sweet treats. I started out by die cutting the gingerbread men from some Baked Brown Sugar card stock and then added some Walnut Stain Distress ink around the edges to create some depth.

This set comes with a few dies and then some stamps you can use to decorate your cookies. I stamped the eyes and buttons using some Black ink and then I embossed the Rick Rack using the Sparkle Puff and Real Red embossing powders. I added some color to the face with some colored pencils and a VersaMarker to add the embossing powders to the buttons. Then using the Perfect Paper Crafting Ruler and Cutting Mat I created a tag for each cookie.

I added some additional Rick Rack and embossed that as well. Then I adhered the cookie with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a little circle tag for the Red Tag and then directly onto the tag for the White one. I also added a red heart to the White tag using the die included in the set and the Perfect Airbrush.

I adhered each tag to some Kraft paper bags from the craft store and folded the tops over. Perfect for all your Holiday Treats! These tags could be attached to a Jar or box of goodies as well.

The Sea is Calling…

The summer season is in full swing now and Raechelle is back again showing us another fabulous card layering technique that can be used for summer!  This card layering project is made from the card stock found in one of the My Minds Eye paper packs available at www.perfectpapercrafting.com as well as the Perfect Layers Mini; which by the way you can still get for 20% off by using the code PERFECTLAYERS at checkout!

For the first step, fussy cut images from patterned paper.

Second, cut the background paper to 1/2” smaller than card base. Round the corners using a punch or one of the circle templates found on the Perfect Square, lightly distress and adhere to coordinating patterned paper of your choice.

Using the Perfect little cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around patterned paper, lightly distress and adhere to the card card stock.  Next, use your Minis to 1/16” trim around the patterned paper and adhere to the card base.

Trim your piece of patterned paper and adhere to white card stock then use your Mini to 1/16” trim top and bottom edges of patterned paper and adhere to center of card.

Lastly you get to decorate!  Let your imagination take over and add twine in random loops, adhere the fussy cut pieces and finish off with sequins.  There is no pattern to follow here, so place as few or as many as you like.  Viola! A Perfect Summer card!
