It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….!

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today and this month the Perfect Paper Crafting Team are teaming up with Stampendous and we are sharing lots of fun Christmas Projects. I’m using the super cute Gingerbread Baker Stamp die set along with the Sparkle PuffReal Red Opaque Embossing Powders.
I created some cute Gift bags that are perfect for all your sweet treats. I started out by die cutting the gingerbread men from some Baked Brown Sugar card stock and then added some Walnut Stain Distress ink around the edges to create some depth.

This set comes with a few dies and then some stamps you can use to decorate your cookies. I stamped the eyes and buttons using some Black ink and then I embossed the Rick Rack using the Sparkle Puff and Real Red embossing powders. I added some color to the face with some colored pencils and a VersaMarker to add the embossing powders to the buttons. Then using the Perfect Paper Crafting Ruler and Cutting Mat I created a tag for each cookie.
I added some additional Rick Rack and embossed that as well. Then I adhered the cookie with some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment on a little circle tag for the Red Tag and then directly onto the tag for the White one. I also added a red heart to the White tag using the die included in the set and the Perfect Airbrush.

I adhered each tag to some Kraft paper bags from the craft store and folded the tops over. Perfect for all your Holiday Treats! These tags could be attached to a Jar or box of goodies as well.

Card Making Product Collaboration with ARC Crafts!

We here at Perfect Paper Crafting have teamed up with our friends at ARC Crafts to show you some wonderful card making projects that you can complete with a combination of their tools and ours! Have you seen their BARC wood sheets yet?  These are an awesome variety of real wood specialty paper and envelopes that should be added to any serious paper crafter’s arsenal.  They even have wood labels that can be decorated any way you choose!  Read on below to see some collaborative projects that we came up with and watch for more coming soon.

Hi everyone, it’s Holly here today and this month the Perfect Paper Crafting team is collaborating with ARC Crafts.  I’m using a sheet of the Sticky BARC Birch Labels for my project and some products from Mama Elephant.

I’m also using the Perfect Paper Crafting Spritzer Tool, Cutting Mat and the Perfect Layers.

I die cut the Venice Envelope from some Woodgrain card stock then I spritzed it with a blue marker and the Spritzer Tool.

I stamped the images from the Mama Elephant Three Amigos & Lawn Fawn Smart Cookie set onto some Copic friendly card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink and I colored them in with Copics. Then I cut them out leaving a small white border and adhered the hat onto the little fox.

I adhered the images to the front of the gift card envelope using some foam adhesive. I wanted some Banners to go along the top edge so I choose two from the Birch label sheet and I added some patterned paper to one of them with some adhesive and trimmed the excess off using the Perfect Layers tool edge so I had a nice clean edge. Then I adhered the banners and trimmed off the excess hanging over the top. Adding the pattern paper to the Birch piece gives it a little extra stability to pop it up.

I used some mini glue dots to adhere them to the back of the envelope and added some Blue Baker’s twine for the closure.

Super cute!!! Then I wanted a little extra pop of sparkle so I added some tiny gold stars from Pretty Pink Posh and some mixed gold sequins from the Ton. This is perfect for any graduate and you can change up the images for any occasion.
And here is another great card made by our friend Raechelle Bellus

Using die, cut zig-zag faceplate, this is the base BARC Wood feature for this card.

zig zag airbrush

Trim white cardstock to size of die cut zig zag faceplate. Using The Perfect Airbrush Projects tool apply desired color/s to entire sheet of cardstock. For this card three layers of colors were used- the same that were used when stenciling. Once desired background has been achieved and is dry, adhere the die cut to the cardstock and then adhere to card base.

Die cut solid butterflies from BARC Wood and other from vellum.

Add sticker tags, twine, and hello sticker.

Cut out small BARC Wood banner pieces and adhere.

Adhere BARC Wood butterflies to card.  Add vellum atop of BARC wood butterflies and add enamel dots.

Finish off with random sequins.

Using the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/4” trim carefully around zig-zag pattern, lightly distress edges, and set aside.

Trim yellow piece of patterned paper to ½” smaller than card base. Lightly distress edges and adhere to blue patterned paper.

Creating a Card From a Photo

Hello everyone, Chitra here and today I am sharing a card using photo. It was little difficult for me to just come up with a card idea using photo, here is what I made…

By Chitra Nair (that is me and hubby dear)

To create this card:

  • First I took an A2 sized white card base and placed “bubble mask” stencil from studio calico and used my Perfect Paper Crafting Air brush along with R24 marker and spritzed little red color on the bottom part of the card base.

  • Then I took a photo  I wanted to use for my card and used Perfect Square tool and Perfect Cutting Mat to get the perfect measurement I wanted. I just wanted the left and right sides trimmed; I used the bottom edge as my catch edge and trimmed one side and did the same for the other side using top edge as the catch edge.
  • Once I was happy with the photo size I used corner punch to round all four corners.

  • For layering I used 3/8”-inch, 1/8”-inch and 3/16”-inch (from bottom to top); I used Perfect Layers Mini on design papers from DCWV.

  • I adhered the whole photo panel directly to the card base.
  • For the stamped image I used Avery Elle’s “Dream Boat” stamp set; stamped the image onto Crafters Companion ultra smooth white cardstock and colored it using Copics, then trimmed it out and adhered it using some foam squares.
  • The sentiment is also from the same Avery Elle’s set which is stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Here is a close up:

Hope you like my card, thanks for stopping by!!

Have a great day!

Cow’s It Going?

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today with my first post for the Perfect Papercrafting Blog, I had to share this cool Cow’s It Going Scrapbook page that I created using the Perfect Airbrush. We are using photos on our projects this Month and I created a fun card using a photo I took back in the Spring.

I started with a White standard card base and using a stencil and the Perfect AirBrush tool I added some Rusty Hinge and Wild Honey Distress ink to created a background.

Once I had the color saturation I wanted I lifted the stencil and set that aside to dry.

Then using the Perfect Ruler and an xacto knife I trimmed out my photo and a piece of pattern paper.

I stamped and colored a few images from some fun sets from MFT and cut them out.

I assembled the card with some foam adhesive and I added some twine behind the fence to create an embellishment cluster. I stamped the sentiment and added it along the upper right corner of the photo. For a fun pop of Green I added a few Mossy Green. Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
