Get It Girl!!

Ever have a friend who needs some extra encouragement? We all do and what better way to encourage them or let them know you are thinking of them then with this hand made card.  Raechelle Bellus is here showing us how to make this great card!

 

Instructions:

  • Cut base patterned paper to ¼” smaller than size of card and adhere to card base.
  • Place 3” x 4” journal on a partial piece of green patterned paper.
  • Place the Perfect Cutting mat under area and using the Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around the top, one side, and bottom edge.

  • Adhere to card base.
  • Fussy cut flowers and typewrite from patterned paper. Add typewriter to card using foam. Add fussy cut flower bunch slightly underneath.
  • Add sticker and fussy cut flower.

Stampendous + Perfect Paper Crafting

We here at Perfect Paper Crafting have had a wonderful opportunity to pair up with our friends at Stampendous and create fun paper crafting projects together!  Our tools are great for card making, and work wonderfully with all the hundreds of different stencils, stamps, and products Stampendous has to offer!  This week we will be showing you different projects our designers came up with using some great products offered by Stampendous. Raechelle Bellus is up today getting us in the winter spirit and showing us a wonderful card she made!

Snowman Card Instructions:

Place stencil onto white cardstock. Add a dollop of Embossing Paste to center of stencil area and smooth over evenly with Embossing Plate. Remove stencil carefully, allow to dry (clean tools).

Once dry, place stencil over raised areas and using The Perfect Airbrush Projects Tool apply colors to embossed areas.

Using the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/16” trim around light blue cardstock. Adhere to dark cardstock.

Using the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around cardstock. Adhere to card base.

Add colored and cut stamped snowman images to card with foam adhesive.

Trim the sentiment and adhere to light blue cardstock. Using the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/16” trim around light blue cardstock. Adhere to dark cardstock. Trim 1/16” around the dark cardstock. Adhere to card.

Add several Class A’Peel Stickers.

Add some of the Stampendous Shaved Ice and allow to dry.

This paper crafting project features one of our 2 awesome summer paper packs available by My Minds Eye: Happy Camper and Raechelle is back showing us a card she made with this great pack!  Card Making and Paper Crafting are excellent forms of expression and we love to see what great projects our design team members come up with.  This example would be a great way to send some summer photos to loved ones and share your adventures with your family!

 

Instructions:

This paper crafting project is easy to complete and we will lay out the steps for you as a guide, one at a time.  First, cut out the fussy cut camper from patterned paper.

Cut the background paper to 5/8” smaller than the card base. Round the corners using a punch and adhere to white card stock.

Using the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini, 1/8” trim around the patterned paper, round  the corners and adhere to the card base.

To create the second layer: Mount coordinating patterned paper onto white card stock. Using the Perfect Ruler, trim 1/16” around two edges.  Using a ruler or trimmer, cut this piece at an angle to create visual interest. Round the upper corner. Adhere to the  background paper.

Cut a 1” piece of coordinating patterned paper, cut the end to make a banner and fold for dimension. Adhere to the card. Place fussy cut camper on the card using foam tape and finish off with enamel dots and floss bow!

Supplies: Perfect Paper Crafting: cutting mat, Perfect Layers Mini, Perfect Ruler, and Perfect Wave Tool– Small Wave Edge

Patterned paper, die cuts, and stickers: Webster’s Pages, tags: Canvas Corp, card base: Hobby Lobby, spray mist: Tattered Angels, other: buttons, sequins, pearls, crinkle ribbon, and twine

Instructions:

Trim base patterned papers to ¼” less than card. Distress edges and adhere to black patterned paper.

Using the Perfect Paper Crafting cutting mat and Perfect Layers Mini 1/8” trim around patterned paper. Machine stitch around edges, distress, and adhere to card base.

Spray canvas tags with mist and once dry adhere to card.

To create wavy edges: trace along edge of ruler on backside of patterned paper. Cut along lines. Cut to length.

To create ovals: on reverse side of patterned paper, trace ovals and then using the Perfect Ruler, mark 1/8” around several areas. Cut around marked edges.

Add remaining elements to tags for dimension.
